6 things you never really wanted to know about me :)

1.) I love typing - I think it kind of started with my secretary jobs I've had over the years, but I do love when I can just type out a huge long email in a matter of minutes and friends and family of mine are no strangers to my emails :) I used to hate it when I was younger, but I think it's just because I wasn't so great at it as a youngster. Now I can just type up pages and pages and it's actually fun for me!

2.) I can sing and I love doing it, but I'm very self-concious about it! I mostly find myself singing when I'm by myself or more recently when just my husband is around. He thinks I sound good, so he's an easy audience. I've forced myself to sing in front of audiences, but it still scares me to death every single time. I've recently decided I want a karaoke machine at home so I can endulge myself without being nervous about others hearing me.

3.) I have a crazy, wandering, depressive mind. I've hidden it from most people as much as I can, but people that know me well know I'm a "glass is half-empty" type of person. I'm working on it though! And my husband understands it more than most. I actually think it is the main reason that I am so intrigued with mental health and why I want to help others that live depressive lives. It makes no sense to me to be depressed about life when I have so many amazing people and things in my own. It makes me strive to find answers.

4.) I HATE traffic and crowds with a passion. That's one of the reasons I want to move to a place less bogged down with people! I've lived in the city and surrounding areas long enough to want some freggin personal space! I want a big yard and I want to go to restaurants that I can walk in and sit down... none of this waiting with no place to sit stuff!! And I hate that it takes at LEAST 30 minutes to get anywhere around here. I also visited NYC for like a day and was DONE with it!

5.) I love babies. They don't even have to be mine. I just want to squeeze and love them all! So precious and innocent and cute and chubby!! They all love me too. I can make them smile with my craziness :)

6.) I like road trips. It makes me feel good to get out and see the world. Brian and I actually drove from Phoenix to Illinois to see my family and then back. It was one of my most memorable trips ever. We didn't even argue once... and that's a LOT of time in the car. 26.5 hours EACH way, people.
