Plans!

So most of you might know that I am a HUGE planner! I like to always have a 5-year plan, but 1-year is my absolute minimum. My philosophy is such that if you don't plan ahead, how do you ever expect to get to where you eventually want to be? So, I plan and plan and plan some more. Kind of drives Brian nuts, but his constant "go with the flowness" drives me nuts! So there! :) Man will say to me on a Thursday, "Hey, you want to go to Colorado this weekend?" Um, no! I need to plan for these things.

So! In that case, I am excited about the next year or so and feel the need to share. My potential grad date is May 2009. Basically EVERYTHING in my life has been waiting on this stupid degree: Career, Babies, Colorado.... Well, an exciting opportunity has arisen (arise chicken - only Bri will get the chicken thing, but it's way funny). My boss has begun giving me the chance to meet with a mentor in the Human Resources Department at our company. He's been absolutely supportive of my dream of working with people and hopes to help direct me into those types of jobs when I finally get that degree that I've been working so hard on for like, ever!

This brings me to our decision to stick it out in AZ for just a few years longer. Although the Colorado dream remains, we've decided that we cannot pass up on this career opportunity for the working wife. So, for the next year, Brian and I will be working and studying and house hunting - for another AZ house! Mainly to take advantage of this Buyer's market that we are in. You would not believe the prices of some of these amazing houses out here right now.

I know AZ friends will be pleased with this new plan and I am excited to spend a couple/few more summers out here with you all before cashing in and hightailing it to the lands of Colorado. You all may even get to see the first born :)

Yay for plans!! I soooo love being an adult. Life DOES get better after high school!
