TGIF!

So, this week went by kind of fast, but it's because we were busy little bees and I am exhausted! I had numerous after work appointments this week - one at the eye doctor where I found out why I've been having extra trouble seeing lately. Apparently the astigmatism in my left eye has gotten progressively worse. Now I need to go in for a special lense fitting sometime next week since regular contacts won't do the trick anymore. Getting old is lame.

Brian and I also met with our family doc to talk about my getting off my medications and how to best do that so I'm not suffering. I should be clean and good to go by December! One dose of Prozac to help curb my antidepressant withdrawal symptoms and I am SO grateful for it because the last time I tried to get off this antidepressant it REALLY sucked.

Brian hates when I tell people this, but oh well - we had a very nice visit with a new therapist which we both decided we really liked and will be going back to meet with her again soon. Our last therapist switched offices and she won't take our insurance anymore. Anyway, she made us feel really good about the decisions that we've been making lately and it was nice to have the added encouragement.

We are doing much better financially and I agreed to let Brian spend some money on the new Fable 2 video game that he's been dying to have. I have some friends coming over to dinner tomorrow night, so that will be the highlight of the weekend for me since I won't be able to use the TV at all due to said video game.

All in all its been a productive week! I feel pretty good about it, but I also feel like I could sleep for 2 days straight.

P.S. We are getting very excited for baby Leila to make her appearance! Just a little over a month now! :)
