Busy!

Well, I'm halfway into week 2 with my classes and so far so good! I'm trying to get ahead with the homework and it hasn't been too bad. By far the weirdest part is switching gears from work mode to school mode and back every other day.

Last week was nutty busy - Not only did we have the Inauguration Celebrations going on and I did my best to keep up with the news, but one of my best friends had a baby girl on Tuesday (1/20) as well! Congrats again, Nicole and Jared! THAT Tuesday just happened to be my first day of classes also, so the week began with some serious fun stuff!

I think I'm going to enjoy most of my classes this semester. I am taking one Astronomy class because I needed a science without a lab. That class is probably going to be the worst of them, not because Astronomy isn't interesting, but because my professor is a first-class new technology geek and has us paying for all these crazy websites and gadgets to use throughout the semester.

Brian and I spent our weekend together shopping for some much needed new clothing and it was a lot of fun :) I can't even tell you the last time that I bought something new for myself, so it was really nice to have him take me around and insist that I let him buy stuff for me. On Saturday I went out to lunch with my mom and she insisted on buying one of those rolling bags for me so I don't break my back carrying books and my laptop around campus. I feel so loved!

I apologize for the lack of pictures lately. Our camera is still dead. I did, however, let Brian know that a new one would be a great birthday present for me :) I'll be 26 in about 5 weeks. Yikes!
