Canyon Lake

I decided that I wanted a family outting to the lake today since we both had the day off (rarity these days). It's fun for us to let Chief off the leash and let him swim around.

He just jumped right on in, after us, of course.

And then he decided that he liked the raft as well :)

It's rather unfortunate that any body of water around these parts is only because of a dam somewhere and that just makes the water backed up and pretty nasty, however, we'll take what we can get around here! It was a nice break from the heat and it's a pretty drive through the mountains too.
