Oli Update

Here are a couple cute shots for you :) We went to the pediatrician on Friday and they were concerned that he wasn't gaining enough weight, so I've been waking Oli up every two hours to nurse him and then bottle feed him and then pump! At night we're allowed to let him sleep and he'll sleep anywhere from 2-5 hours at night, which has been awesome. Still takes some getting used to, but I'll take it! We went back to the Dr today to see if he's doing any better with the weight gain and he definitely is thanks to the additional bottle feeding, but we're told that he's a little tongue tied, so that could be why he's not latching on properly. We go back this Friday to get his little tongue snipped! :( Apparently in comparison to the circumcision, this is no big deal, but I just hate that they always have to hurt my little baby! His little manhood has already healed and his umbilical cord has fallen off, so I have no doubt that his little tongue will heal fine too. Just makes me a little sad. Brian said that he was tongue tied as a youngster too, so we'll blame this one on him :)

Anywho, we're adjusting to family life just fine and right now Oli is asleep in the baby sling that I've got strapped to me. He seems to want to be held today, or maybe it's me that wants to hold him... ;)
