Toes & 4 Month Check-up

One of my best girlfriends, Jacque (in the middle), took us mom's out for lunch and pedicures as a joint birthday gift and it was just way too much fun! We're much busier than we used to be and even though we don't get together as much as we'd like, when we do get together its as if no time has passed. We just laugh and talk and act like we're the only ones in the room! I had the best time, thanks Jac! Our lovely springy toes!

Today was Oliver's 4 month appointment at the pediatrician's office. He now weighs 15 pounds, 7 ounces and in at the 45th percentile, his height at the 55th percentile and his head at the 45th. He got another 2 shots in each leg and an oral vaccine. He did really well at first, but he's been pretty miserable this evening! I think we just finally got him to go to sleep. I can't help, but feel guilty about it, but I know its in the best interest of his health and the health of the community. Still breaks my heart to see him upset! :( We were also told today that he has two "teeth buds" coming in and that we could start him on some solids if we want! More on that to come.

This picture below is one from the photoshoot that I mentioned in my blog like 5 months ago now! It just so happened that I was supposed to go and pick out the ones that I liked on Halloween and then Oliver decided to show up the day before. Since this was a gift from a friend, the shop was a good 30-45 minutes away. Obviously this was on the back burner for a while, but I'm so glad that we have these shots. They turned out beautifully so I had Brian scan one in so I could share. He was only in here for about 10 more days!
