Long Time No Post!

It has officially been way too long since my last post and I've had some complaints, so here you go! ;) Oliver is just about to be 18 months old and just this last weekend we had a couple of firsts! We took him to his first trip to the Zoo here in Denver with a friend of his (actually the daughter of my co-teacher, Ashley). Oliver and Payton are checking out some underwater animals here.

Another first is Oliver's first professional haircut. A mother of one of my students at school did a fantastic job on our little boy's hair.
Don't laugh at this picture below - or if you do, don't tell me you did because I'm a late life model.. Just kidding! A new friend of ours is an aspiring photographer and offered to take some pictures of our little family free of charge if I posed for some model shots for her. This one is my fave. I love the attitude I'm giving to the camera here. Haha.
And here are some shots of the rest of the fam :)

The reason for the lack of posts these days is that we are super busy with our new jobs. My job for one, leaves me zero time to sit at a computer until I'm home at the end of the day and dead tired.

A few things to mention would be that Brian recently lost his dear Grandfather Cobabe. He flew out to Utah to be with him in his final hours and we both feel that it was good for him to be there. I think it helped him put some closure to not only his relationship with his grandfather, but also his relationship with his father.

We've been getting asked a lot about when we are going to have another baby and although we would love another addition to our family, we want to make sure that our finances are in order before taking that step. We think that we'll possibly be ready to start trying for baby number two by the end of the summer. No promises! ;) Hope this long awaited post finds you and your loved ones well. A small reminder to never take those loved ones forgranted as we never know how much time we will have with them.

WOW! You posted! Sorry to hear about Brian's grandpa. :(

That picture of you is gorgeous! I love it and all the other ones of the family! Oliver looks like such a little boy now with his haircut.
