Dear Birthday Boy,

28 isn't so bad... I mean it's still not quite 30! And getting older isn't a bad thing either. It just means that you've made it another year in this crazy world.... and what a year it has been! I've had the pleasure of watching you grow into an amazing father (no surprise there) and I've watched you unselfishly give up certain previously loved items for the financial good of our family. Anyone that knows you understands that this is an exceptional change in your life methods! I've never met a more loving, caring and thoughtful man. You put up with some interesting demands from an often partially insane spouse and it does not go unnoticed.

I hope you take today to reflect on the last 28 years and be grateful for the wonderful things that life has given you and be proud of the man that you have become, because I am :)

I wish we could do more this year to celebrate and maybe next year we'll be able to afford that rifle that's been on your mind (don't hold your breath, just sayin).
