Oliver's 9-Month Stats

One of the first things we did when we got a little more settled, was take Oliver to his 9-month wellness visit. In Colorado they don't give vaccinations at this visit, so this was just a stat check for him.

Weight: 20lbs 12oz and 50th percentile
Height: 28 3/4 inches and 60th percentile
Head: 46 inches and 75th percentile

They also took a little blood and told us that his nutrients levels were perfect :) It makes sense because this child will eat anything you put in front of him, especially fruits and vegetables.

One thing that I know I will like about my new job is that there is no shortage of parents around to ask when it comes to finding good pediatricians and other resources for Oliver. Most of the parents (including the staff as a lot of them have kids too) are very involved since they pay top dollar for their kids to attend this preschool.

Although Brian took Oliver to his visit while I was at work, I was pleased to hear that Brian really liked the doctor and the doctor really seemed to appreciate Oliver's smiliness as much as we do. They have offices all over Aurora, including ours that is not even a mile away from our apartment!

*A little side note for all the Illinois Native readers of this blog - Our apartment complex's entrance is off a street called, Blackhawk and there is a light a few miles away called, Moline. Haha.

Wait...50th percentile for weight?!?! Did they mis-calculate?! Ha ha ha, j/k! Maybe it's his big head that makes him look so stout. ;) Brian is such a good daddy! I bet the doctors don't see many daddy's taking the little guys in for visits.
