New Home

Well, we're starting our third week here as Coloradoans. Its been a whirlwind! When we drive around to check out our new home, I find myself thinking, "Wow, I live here!" Its strange and exciting. I think I'm fitting in well at my new job and I'm kept very busy. The kids are great and for the most part, I think the parents like me! I'm looking forward to when I can bring Oliver to school with me.

We've been getting out on the weekends and driving to different places. Last weekend was Cherry Creek State Park, just a few miles from us and today we drove up to Brian's old stomping grounds in Fort Collins (about an hour away). Here are some pictures of our trip today. We stopped at the local The Egg and I - one of our favorites. Here are some pictures of Oliver and his first graham cracker. He was in love even before we took the wrapper off.

Here my boys are visiting Grandpa Cobabe. This has got to be hands down the most beautiful cemetary I've ever seen. We saw two baby deer and a fox just hanging out!

Oliver still doesn't like the grass. He'll have to get over that soon because this state actually grows grass naturally!

Next weekend, we'll visit 'The Mountains'. Everyone always has wonderful things to say about them. I hear they are beautiful. We'll be sure to remember to take lots of pictures to post for you all! To entice you to come and visit us, of course ;)

Wow, it is pretty there! Deer and fox hanging out in a cemetary?!? The only thing you'd see hanging out here at our cemetaries is some buzzards overhead. ;)

So you were at the cemetary right around the anniversary of his dad's death? That must have been a rough day. It's a good tradition to go and visit, though.
