There is something to be said for change in one's life - it can be a very exciting, trying and overwhelming thing. Brian and I have talked for years about moving up to where the trees are green in the lands of Colorado. It's been a long standing dream of ours that our friends and family have been aware of, however, it is always a bit of a shock when you tell them, "Hey, I'm moving out of state next week."
I accepted a position at The Goddard School in Aurora, Colorado as the Lead Teacher in the 1-year old room. I'm nervously excited about it. Not only will I be in a new state, but I'll be starting in a new field and career on Monday, July 26th.
I'm still dealing with the saddness of saying goodbye to friends and family here in Arizona, but this is an opportunity that we just cannot pass up. I plan to visit as often as I can and I hope everyone knows that our doors are ALWAYS open to out of state visitors. We won't have much, but we will always make room for friends and family to come and stay with us as there is nothing more important to us in this world than the people that we love.
Wish us luck on this adventure and new life that we are starting in Colorado!!

You're going to love it! I'm so excited for you. You are taking a leap of faith and I'm sure great things await!
Hey! How are you guys settling in up there? How do you like your new place? I had a small panic attack the other night when I realized you were gone, but then I remembered that you are just a few hours away!
